Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your SecondBrainOS account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to start the process.
Request deletion by email
Email us from the address on your account with the subject “Data Deletion Request” at either umair.kamil@secondbrainos.com or newsletter@umairkamil.com. We verify ownership before deleting and complete the request within 30 days.
Delete from within the app
Self-serve in-app deletion is being rolled out. Once available, you will be able to log in at crm.secondbrainos.com and confirm deletion under Dashboard → For Developers. Until then, please use the email process above.
What is deleted
- your account and profile (email, name, phone, profile information);
- your knowledge bases, workflows, prompts, AI agent configuration, and uploaded content;
- credentials for any connected channels, including WhatsApp Business and Instagram Business connections.
Some records may be retained where required by law (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting) or in aggregated, de-identified form that can no longer identify you. Payment records are held by Stripe under its own retention policy.
WhatsApp & Instagram (Meta) data
SecondBrainOS receives WhatsApp and Instagram message data only to deliver messages to your inbox and send your replies. You can stop this at any time by disconnecting the channel in Settings → Inboxes— this removes the stored channel credentials and stops further message delivery. Deleting your account removes these connections in full. Message data on Meta’s own platforms is subject to Meta’s policies and your own account settings with Meta.
Confirmation
We confirm completion by email to the address on your account. If you have any questions about a deletion request, contact umair.kamil@secondbrainos.com.
